Rocking Chair Resort Movie Room and Game Room Epoxy Floors in Mountain Home, AR
This Twin Lakes Epoxy project was completed in October 2026 for the Rocking Chair Resort on Norfork Lake in Mountain Home, AR. The resort's new movie room received a striking glow-in-the-dark green flake floor, while the adjoining game room was finished in a warm granite-blend full-flake system. These photos show the completed installations.
The movie room: glow-in-the-dark epoxy
The movie theater space features a dense broadcast of neon-green glow-in-the-dark flake over a dark base. When the lights go down, the floor glows with a bright green pattern that creates atmosphere and provides subtle wayfinding. This finish is popular for entertainment spaces, home theaters and unique residential applications where the glow effect adds to the experience.
The game room: granite-blend full-flake
The attached game room received a full-flake floor in a tan, beige, brown, black and white blend that reads like natural stone. The high-gloss finish reflects the room's rustic reclaimed-wood walls and creates a durable, cleanable surface for the pool table and other game equipment. The photos show the installation during the resort's renovation, with painter's tape and wiring visible as other trades completed their work.

Planning a resort, commercial or entertainment space floor
Movie rooms, game rooms, tasting rooms, event spaces and other commercial or hospitality floors need planning around traffic, cleaning, aesthetics and downtime. Glow-in-the-dark finishes require a darker base color and perform best in spaces that cycle between light and dark. Full-flake systems offer durability and hide wear in high-traffic areas.
